If you’ve had a chance to visit Washington D.C, which is the capital state of the US, you may have noticed that the flag is different from the national one. The Washington DC’s flag is rectangular just like the national one, but it doesn’t have rectangles added in it. All the stripes are red in color with a white background. The same can be seen when you visit Puerto Rico, which has different decorations on the flags. The US flags New York represent people’s heritage, their struggles and achievements over the decades.
