Full
color banners have been around for ages and they have been around for decades,
helping small and medium businesses find their audience and sell to them
without spending too much on advertising.
Perhaps
you are among those people who think that full color banners are not as useful
or powerful as other more modern advertisement medium, you would be wrong if
you do that because full color banners have changed a lot since last decade and
if we take some time and look deeper into those new developments, we will find
that not only has the material has changed to reflect changes in the scientific
and ethnological advances that have been brought about in the banner printing
industry. Materials on which banners are printed and ink that is used for the
job, even the way banners are hung today are not same as they were before!
Today,
13oz vinyl is used to make full color banners. These come in sizes of 150' X
16'. These are big enough to make one large banner without having to join two
pieces together. These come premade with pole holes and grommet fixers which
can be used to hang the banner wherever you choose to. Banner makers must also
facilitate situations when people want to display banners indoors. That means
banners must have new things such as specially made pockets and hangers that
will facilitate fastening banners even within limited space. Of course these
are tacked onto the final product only if the customer wants to have them,
because despite everything, full color banners still find maximum application
in outdoor applications.
On
one hand where full color banners have changed a lot in their inherent
characteristics, the functionalities have remained same. Full color custom banners are
primarily used in three different cases.
1.
Permanent
Business Requirements:
There are times when businesses require long lasting advertising solutions. For
instance when businesses undergo change of ownership or when they have
something major to announce, they use full color banners. Moreover, these big
banners also come in handy at times when the aim of the business is to grab
more eyeballs than just make an announcement.
2.
Temporary
Business Announcements:
Having said that big colored banners are good for grabbing attention and making
a big splash, it must also be pointed out that banners are also perfect for
smaller occasions and since these are so effective, one can rest assured that
the tool will perfectly do what it is supposed to do.
3. New
Business Announcements: This might be the most common use of personal banners
and flags. New businesses need to make a good first impression and there
is nothing better than a big, bold and serious announcement.
